Birchbox September 2013 Review

I am still trying to catch up on some (very) belated subscription box reviews!

The Birchbox September 2013 theme was 'Heritage'.

Contents: My box included 5 items. I am enamored with the re-designed Birchbox, especially the cute zigzag pattern on the inside of the box!

Barkbox August 2013 Review

I had won an August BarkBox for our dog and never got around to reviewing it! Don't worry, that certainly doesn't mean that I had deprived him of the box contents until now - I let him enjoy a few of the goodies as soon as the box had arrived!

Contents: August's small & cute BarkBox was 'inspired by the deep blue sea' and included 5 different items.

Love with Food October 2013 Review

I like the philosophy behind Love With Food (LWF) and I found a great deal, so I bought an additional 6-month subscription to LWF. My subscriptions overlapped for the month of October, so I received 2 October subscription boxes. In addition, I had received a complimentary October box from LWF for review purposes, so I will be giving away an October LWF box soon!

Love With Food

Contents: The October LWF theme was 'Scary Delicious.' It included 8 different items and a bonus coupon for a complimentary Lean Cuisine Honestly Good Entree.

Love with Food September Review

I am still trying to catch up on some (very) belated subscription box reviews!

I like the philosophy behind Love With Food (LWF) and I found a great deal on Rue La La, so I bought an additional 6-month subscription to LWF!

Love With Food

Contents: The September LWF theme was curated by Chef Ming Tsai. I seem to have lost the info card, so I don't know what the monthly theme was, but it was an entirely gluten-free box. It included 9 different items.

Conscious Box Classic July 2013 Review

This July Classic Conscious box review is quite delayed. I'm starting to sound like a broken record...once again (yes, for the fourth straight month), I was disappointed in the Conscious box contents. I procrastinated while writing this review because I prefer to not write negative reviews on products and subscription boxes. However, I reasoned that it would be helpful for readers to see the contents of the July Classic Conscious box to determine if this subscription box is a good fit for their lifestyle. These opinions are solely my own and keep in mind that the same products/subscription box may have been loved by others.

Conscious box

Contents:
The July Conscious box theme month was 'Find Nature's Fireworks'. My Classic Conscious box included 15 different items (2 baby/children, 1 beauty, 2 food, 6 health and 4 home products).

Travel Size Thursday: Clear Scalp & Hair, Gluten Free Beauty, Earthpaste, Lierac, Supergoop

@BeautyEmpties recently started #travelsizethursday on Instagram. The premise of this activity is that you try 5 samples for the week and then post your results. I loved the idea because it's a great way to use up my stash of samples. Also, I love reading the results from each of the participants at the end of each week.

Here are my 5 recent picks for #travelsizethursday

Product Review: Eminence Clear Probiotic Masque

Eminence is a cruelty-free brand from Hungary that produces handmade, organic skin care products. This clear probiotic masque is the first product that I've tried from Eminence and I am thoroughly impressed! For reference, I have combination acne-prone skin. I use this masque once every 1-2 weeks to help prevent blemishes and also resolve existing blemishes.

Klutchclub June 2013 Women's Box Review

KLUTCHclub is a health, wellness and personal care subscription box. There are 4 different options: Women, Men, Mom and Best of Box. KLUTCHclub normally gives a preview of the regular monthly boxes for Women, Men and Mom.

The reason that this June box review is delayed is because KLUTCHclub occasionally sells surplus boxes from previous months at a discounted price. I was able to purchase this box for only $8 (normally $18) - it was supposed to be the May box, but the May box had sold out, so KLUTCHclub sent me a June box.

Klutchclub Best of Box July 2013 Review and Promo Code!

I was excited to open up my KLUTCHclub Best of Box! I took advantage of a promo code that I posted earlier. So, I was able to get this Best of Box for only $10, which included the cost of shipping and handling.

KLUTCHclub is a health, wellness and personal care subscription box. There are 4 different options: Women, Men, Mom and Best of Box. KLUTCHclub normally gives a preview of the regular monthly boxes for Women, Men and Mom. KLUTCHclub provides some hints on the Best of Box contents because these box contents vary. Part of the fun of subscription boxes is the surprise aspect, so I couldn't wait to open up this Best of Box.

Conscious Box - Vegan Box May 2013 Review

This May Vegan Conscious box review is quite delayed. Once again, I was slightly disappointed in the Conscious box contents. I thought that this May Vegan box was not as good as my April Vegan box. I procrastinated while writing this review because I prefer to not write negative reviews on products and subscription boxes. However, I reasoned that it would be helpful for readers to see the contents of the May Vegan Conscious box to determine if this subscription box is a good fit for their lifestyle. These opinions are solely my own and keep in mind that the same products/subscription box may have been loved by others.
