Klutchclub June 2013 Women's Box Review

KLUTCHclub is a health, wellness and personal care subscription box. There are 4 different options: Women, Men, Mom and Best of Box. KLUTCHclub normally gives a preview of the regular monthly boxes for Women, Men and Mom.

The reason that this June box review is delayed is because KLUTCHclub occasionally sells surplus boxes from previous months at a discounted price. I was able to purchase this box for only $8 (normally $18) - it was supposed to be the May box, but the May box had sold out, so KLUTCHclub sent me a June box.

Contents: This KLUTCHclub June Women's Box included 9 different items (1 beauty, 5 food, 1 health, and 2 misc. products).

Verdict:
Size: I was happy to receive 5 full size products and 1 deluxe-size sample. However, I was disappointed that all of the items were one-time-use products.

Products: I was also disappointed to see that the majority of the products in this June box were food items (including one product for children). The May KLUTCHclub box that I had intended to purchase had a better variety of products, including a few beauty products (the main reason that I had purchased the box). The majority of the brands were new to me - as I've mentioned previously, the 'discovery' aspect is one of the reasons why I like subscription boxes. I am most excited about trying the 7th Heaven million year mud mask.

Value: Fair - I paid $8 for this KLUTCHclub June box and I received over $12 worth of products in addition to 2 gift cards and coupons. Normally, a monthly box costs $10 plus $8 for shipping and handling.
