1. Broadway Nails imPRESS Press-On Manicure in Holla!, 24 nail covers

This is the second time that I have received these press-on nail covers from Influenster. Luckily, this design (frosty pink polish with a black lace design) is a better fit for me compared to the first design that I received as a prize for 'The Taste' Influenster Challenge. These nail covers will be great for a girls' night out when I don't have time to do a full manicure.

2. Secret Outlast Clear Gel Antiperspirant/Deodorant 1.7 oz

I usually use solid antiperspirant/deodorant. I was hesitant to try this product because my past experience with gel antiperspirants/deodorants has consistently included wet and sticky armpits immediately upon product application and significant white streaks on my clothes. However, I was happy that I tried this Secret clear gel because it dries quickly upon application and does not leave white streaks! It has a fresh, clean scent that is not overbearing. At this time, I am trying to use 'more natural' products and that includes aluminum-free antiperspirants/deodorants. Also, I have used this product for about a month and it looks like at least half of the product is already gone. So, although I liked this product's performance, I would not purchase because of the ingredients and because the product is used up too quickly.

3. NYC New York Color Applelicious Glossy Lip Balm in 356 Big Apple Red, 0.12 oz

Full size cost: $2.99

This lip balm has had rave reviews from other bloggers - it is moisturizing and adds a sheer layer of color and shine. Also, It has a cute apple design in the middle of the lip balm! However, it contains parabens. So, I would not purchase because of the ingredients.

4. Schwarzkopf Professional OSiS Rough Rubber, 4 oz

Full size cost: $20

Influenster sent out 3 different Schwarzkopf products to Influensters - mattifying powder, rubber paste or flex gel. If I was given the choice, I would choose the mattifying powder because it claims to add lift and texture to hair - this is exactly what I need for my thin, fine hair. I can't use the rubber paste, so I gave this product to my brother to use in his short hair.

5. Tastykake Kandy Bar Kakes in Peanut Butter, 2.1 oz

Full size cost: $4.49 for a box of 5 bars, net weight 8.5 oz
Estimated retail value: $1.11

I was excited to try this Tastykake bar because I love the combination of peanut butter and chocolate. The peanut butter portion was rich, sweet and creamy. Unfortunately, the cake portion was dry and crumbly - not exactly the 'light and fluffy' description that Influenster had claimed. I only took a couple bites and then threw it in the trash because it was not worth the calories. I normally hate wasting food and will eat every bit of food off my plate, so throwing this bar out was a big statement. Would not purchase.
