Unboxing the April 2013 Pawalla Mini

1. Fresh Dog Natural Oatmeal Shampoo, 2 fl oz

Full size cost: $12
Estimated retail value $1.41

I appreciate that this shampoo is free of parabens, phthalates, GMOs, triclosan, synthetic fragrances, and artificial color/dyes. This moisturizing shampoo contains oatmeal, which is a natural remedy for dry, itchy skin. It is appropriate for puppies, dogs, kittens and cats. Finally, it does not affect topical flea and tick treatments, so it's appropriate for the warmer months when we have to be more vigilant about fleas and ticks!

2. Natural Balance Healthy Bones in Turkey, Oatmeal & Cranberry, 8 oz

Retail value $3.99

These nutritious treats contain Vitamin E and zinc, which work together to support optimum skin and coat health. These treats are free of preservatives and artificial colors.
3. Pet Greens Semi-Moist Li'l treats in Tasty Lamb, 6 oz

Retail Value $5.99
Our dog is going to love these treats because these are soft and chewy. I appreciate that these treats are free of wheat, corn, soy, artificial flavors and artificial colors. These bite sized goodies are only 2 calories each, so these are perfect to use as training treats.
4. PetLou Monkey Stick 13"

Retail value $6.99

This monkey toy is made of ultra-thick, durable material and has double-stitched seams. It's a plush squeaky toy, so it will quickly become one of our dog's favorite toys.

Summary:

Total estimated retail value: $18.38

Product tally:
Treats = 2
Toys = 1
Hygiene = 1

Verdict:
Size: I was happy that we received 3 full size items and 1 deluxe size item!

Products: We received a good variety of high-quality products this month. Our dog is most excited about the PetLou Monkey Stick and the Pet Greens Semi-Moist Li'l treats. I appreciate that all the edible goods were made in the USA.

Value: Fair. We received over $18 worth of products this month. Normally, pawalla mini boxes are $12 to $17 per month. We purchased a 3-month pawalla mini subscription on Fab for $38.
