Free Beauty Haul!

During the month of May, I was lucky enough to attend 4 different beauty events. I get excited about attending these events because I love trying new products and learning about beauty. Complimentary goodie bags were generously given to all guests at these events.

The first May beauty event was hosted by eBayNow and Benefit cosmetics to promote the new eBayNow program in NYC. I found out about this event through Benefit's twitter account (@BenefitBeauty). Makeup artists were on hand to give complimentary mini makeovers and beauty tips to participants. Finally, attendees were given complimentary pink boxes that contained a few Benefit goodies.

The next two May beauty events were hosted by Birchbox at the Joie and Caudalie boutiques. Birchbox sends event invitations to NYC-based Birchbox subscribers, so if you are a NYC Birchbox subscriber, keep an eye on your e-mail for future Birchbox events! The Joie event was a summer shopping event at the SoHo boutique. The Caudalie event was held at the West Village boutique to celebrate the release of Caudalie's new divine legs product. Read more about these events in my Birchbox & Joie and Birchbox & Caudalie posts. At both Birchbox events, attendees were given complimentary Birchboxes that were filled with beauty products.

The last May beauty event was hosted by Beauty the Guide, BeautyBlitz and Lord & Taylor. I found out about this event through BeautyBlitz. Dave Lackie, the editor of Beauty the Guide, led the live Q&A with Polly Blitzer, the founder of BeautyBlitz. Polly divulged celebrity beauty secrets, beauty fails and the evolution of BeautyBlitz. Lord & Taylor provided champagne, hors d'oeuvres, live music, and complimentary makeovers. Finally, attendees were given a pink tote filled with beauty products.
