Conscious Box Classic June 2013 Review

This June Classic Conscious box review is quite delayed. Once again, I was slightly disappointed in the Conscious box contents. I procrastinated while writing this review because I prefer to not write negative reviews on products and subscription boxes. However, I reasoned that it would be helpful for readers to see the contents of the June Classic Conscious box to determine if this subscription box is a good fit for their lifestyle. These opinions are solely my own and keep in mind that the same products/subscription box may have been loved by others.

Contents: The June Conscious box theme month was 'Be Spontaneous'. My Classic Conscious box included 12 different items (3 beauty, 1 dog, 4 food, 2 health and 2 home products) and 1 extra gift card.

Summary:

Classic Conscious Box June 2013
Total box value: $31.95 plus $50 gift card

Verdict: 
Size: I was happy to receive 4 full size product (although 1 is marketed for children), 3 deluxe size samples, 5 foil samples and 1 gift card. 

Products: I am, once again, disappointed to find a children's product and nutritional supplements in a natural and eco-friendly subscription box (particularly since subscribers were sent a survey, 2 months prior to the June box, that asked whether or not we had children in the household). On a positive note, I like the inclusion of beauty, food and household products in Conscious box. I am most excited about trying the Larabar and the Molly Muriel samples of shampoo and face wash.

Value: Good - a monthly subscription costs $19.95 and I received over $31 worth of eco-friendly and natural products. This was the third month of my 3-month giveaway prize. 

Misc: I am so happy to see that Conscious box has continued to include a list of box contents! I still wish that Conscious box would feature and sell all of these products on their website. It is inconvenient that I can't find 5 of these 12 products on the Conscious box website - which means that there is limited product information and I can not purchase these 5 products on the Conscious box website.
