Fancy Mystery Box Review

I mentioned in a recent shopping post that Fancy Men's and Women's mystery boxes were available for sale. The Fancy mystery box is $10 (plus shipping and handling), guaranteed to contain items that are valued at over $30 and still available for sale.

I purchased a Fancy Women's mystery box and I love surprises, so I couldn't wait to tear open the box.

1. The Fancy Wayfarer in Tortoise Frame and Tan Lenses

I can always use an additional pair of sunglasses. I'm glad that I received this version because I prefer the tortoise frame and tan lenses over the black frame and retro lenses. These sunglasses are coated in rubber, which is handy because I tend to drop small items, such as sunglasses!

2. Fluorescent Black Light Lipstick in UV Violet

I'm a homebody, so I'm not sure if I will ever have the chance (or confidence!) to use this fluorescent black light lipstick.  

3. Kikkerland Head Massager

Well, this is certainly a unique-looking device! I'm curious about its effectiveness, so I'll try it the next time that I'm stressed. I'll leave it at home though, because I can only imagine the funny looks that I'd get if I used this at work.

4. L’Occitane Hand Cream

I love L'Occitane hand creams. This particular 20% shea butter hand cream is my holy grail during the winter, so I'm happy to have this spare deluxe sample to keep in my purse.

5. The Motley Gin Tonic Bath Salts

We are lucky enough to have a bath tub, but I rarely remember to take baths. This serves as yet another reminder that I need to indulge in baths more often!

Verdict: 
Size: I am happy that I received 4 full-size products and 1 deluxe-size product in this Fancy mystery box.

Products: Although there is no customization with this Fancy mystery box, I received a good variety of products. I'm not sure if I will ever use the fluorescent black light lipstick, but the other 4 items will be used. Finally, almost all of these products are new to me - the 'discovery' aspect is one of the many reasons why I love subscription boxes.

Value: Great - I paid $16.95 (I saved 10% by using coupon code 'FOLLOWUP10') and received nearly $60 worth of products in this Fancy mystery box.
